JOURNAL ENTRIES OF
JULY 2024

[ JULY 23 2024 — 23:27:48 ]
Annnd it's done! We've finished making our game, ORIAKOS. We started working the game on the 16th of July and released it today, on the 23rd of July, so that's about... a week of work? Damn, that's pretty fast! We submitted it for a game jam as well since the game jam theme (liminal spaces) is something we've always enjoyed, so it only made sense to participate in it. I'm quite proud of what we got done, and well, since the game features my sona, I love it even more, haha. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did! I want to continue making games, but I especially want to expand on the world of ORIAKOS and APEIRONSCOPE... (They are connected, after all!) I wonder if people will enjoy our world building and characters.. Well, I already know some people enjoy our characters, and I'm incredibly grateful for that! It's such a nice feeling to know our creative works are loved by people. Thank you so much, even if some of you may never read this, I genuinely appreciate everyone's support from the bottom of my heart. It means so much to me, I don't even know how to put it into words, haha! I can't wait to work on more games and learn more techniques on how to make stuff. I plan on working on REDLOCKED more next, hopefully.
Though... On an unrelated note, Art Fight is still going on, and I wanted to revenge everyone, but I'm starting to doubt that we can. I hope we're able to revenge at least some people and attack some people we were meaning to, jeez. We got so carried away with making a game that we forgot to attack some of our friends, terrible..! But it's alright, there's always next year, thankfully.
Final thing I wanted to talk about - we've been playing Phighting and Pressure. Phighting... I hated the Phrenzy quite a lot because of how difficult it was and how grindy it felt, so there's that. But I'm excited for the next phestival regardless! And as for Pressure, I'm glad it's been released finally. Testing phases were so much fun, and to see the finished game, it just gives me so much inspiration for worldbuilding and creating. I love this game so damn much. I'm also excited that there's a Regetevator collab, that sounds fun! — AGENT FOX
